1. Abstract and bibliography. One point deducted for school identifier

2. Originality of project
            Evidence of creative thinking

3. Delineation of project

4. Experimental design
            Use of controls, when applicable, identification of controls
            Sampling techniques and equipment

5. Implementation of design

6. Effectiveness of display
             One point deducted for school identifier

7. Oral presentation
              Smoothness of presentation, evidence of knowledge gained,
              ability to cite references

8. Ability to answer judge's questions

9. Validity of conclusions
               Objectivity, Evaluation of observations.
               Do the data support conclusions?

10. Evaluation of suggested future research stemming from current project

 


PROJECTS SHOULD BE SCORED AS FOLLOWS:

 0 =Item is missing; 1 = Poor; 2 = Fair; 3 = Good; 4 = Superior; (If a 5 is an option = Outstanding)
